Dates: July 22, 23, & 24, 2005

Locations:
  • Harold Patterson Sports Complex, Arlington, TX &,
  • Teams playing first games at HP are responsible for putting up the nets and last teams are responsible for taking down the nets.
  • Valley Ridge Soccer Complex, Cedar Hill, TX
  • City of Cedar Hill will take care of nets at Valley Ridge
Fee:
  • U-8, U-9 & U-10 Academy Teams $225.00
  • U-11 through U-19 Competitive Teams $375.00
Deadline: July 15, 2005 for application and entry fee. Copy of the official state roster, notarized medical releases and traveling papers, where applicable, due at registration.

Team rosters are limited to:
  • U- 8, U-9 & U-10 - 14 players
  • U-11 through U-19 - 18 players,
  • No Guest Players for Academy Teams.
  • Up to 5 guest players allowed for U-11 through U-19.
Team Notification: Accepted Teams and Schedules will be posted on the website; www.texaslightning.org as soon as possible following the acceptance deadline. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after July 15th, 2005. Teams not accepted will receive a full refund. In the event of tournament cancellation, 50% of the registration fee will be retained to cover tournament start-up fees.

Age Groups: Boys and Girls, U-8 through U19. All players must be registered with their state association.

Participation: Each team will play a minimum of 3 games.

Referee: When available, all games will use a 3 man referee system with all referees being USSF certified.

Application must be completed in its entirety and entry fee submitted in order for a team to be considered for acceptance. On-line application will be available shortly.

The following items must be presented at time of check-in:
  • 1. Copy of Official Roster
  • 2. Traveling papers, if applicable
  • 3. Notarized Medical Release Forms MUST be presented at check-in.

I-20 W-bound: exit Matlock Rd., stay on frontage road.
I-20 E-bound: exit Matlock Rd., left across Interstate, left on frontage rd.
north side of I-20 on the service road.  Come between 4:00 PM & 8:00 PM. with copy of official roster and NOTARIZED Medical Releases, Travel Papers, if applicable.
