Dates: July 21, 22, & 23, 2006
Locations:
- Harold Patterson Sports Complex, Arlington, TX (Map) & Valley Ridge Soccer Complex, Cedar Hill, TX (Map)
- Teams playing first games at HP are responsible for putting up the nets and last teams are responsible for taking down the nets.
- City of Cedar Hill will take care of nets at Valley Ridge
- The concession stand at Harold Patterson will be open for the duration of the tournament and will also be operating "mobile concessions" circulating the complex.
- The concession stand at Cedar Hill will be open for the duration of the tournament
Fee:- U-8 and U-9 Academy Teams $225.00
- U-11 through U-19 Competitive Teams $425.00
Deadline: July 12, 2006 for application and entry fee. Copy of the official state roster, notarized medical releases and traveling papers, where applicable, due at registration.
Team rosters are limited to:- U-8 and U-9 Academy - 14 players
- U-11 through U-16 - 18 players,
- U-17 and U-19 - 22 players - Amendment to the PUMA CUP 2006 - filed with NTXSSA,
- No Guest Players for Academy Teams.
- Up to 5 guest players allowed for U-11 through U-19.
Academy Age Note:
Academy teams move up in age in August. Academy age groupings are for the 2005-2006 soccer year.
U-10s move up on July 1 and are considered competitive U11s, therefore there will be no U10 Academy division.
Team
Notification: Accepted Teams and Schedules will be posted on the website; www.texaslightning.org as soon as possible following the acceptance deadline. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after July 12th, 2006. Teams not accepted will receive a full refund. In the event of tournament cancellation, 50% of the registration fee will be retained to cover tournament start-up costs.
Age Groups: Boys and Girls, U-8 through U19. All players must be registered with their state association.
Participation: Each team will play a minimum of 3 games.
Referee: When available, all games will use a 3 man referee system with all referees being USSF certified.

Application must be completed in its entirety and entry fee submitted in order for a
team to be considered for acceptance.

Check-in will be on Thursday evening only unless you live outside the DFW Metroplex and have prior approval for check-in at the fields.
The following items must be presented at time of check-in:
- 1. Copy of Official Roster
- 2. Traveling papers, if applicable
- 3. Notarized Medical Release Forms MUST be presented at check-in.
