Texas Lightning invites you to join us for a Sport Source® College Prep Workshop to show high school age student-athletes and parents how to make paying for college easy.

The Sport Source® Plan For Success Seminars will enable you to capitalize on your academic and athletic accomplishments to find and successfully apply for scholarships and financial aid.

With this seminar, sports professionals and educators will help instruct the student-athletes and their parents how to search for college and university programs where they will be successful.

Topics will include:

• Admissions
• Financial Aid
• New NCAA Rules & The Clearinghouse
• NCAA Eligibility
• NAIA Eligibility
• New SAT/ACT and what this means to you
• Official & Un-Official Visit Collegiate visits
• The parent's role and responsibility
• What a college coach looks for in a student athlete
• How to build a persona "Action Plan"
• How to construct a resume and cover letter and so much more...

All games are at the Harold Patterson Sports Complex in Arlington Map and Field Layout
The concession stand at Harold Patterson will be open for the duration of the tournament and will also be operating "mobile concessions" circulating the complex.

• Complimentary Hotel Accommodations will be provided at the Arlington Hilton Hotel for the nights of Thursday, April 5 & Friday, April 6, 2007 (limited rooms are available so please respond ASAP to make your reservation). • If you wish to extend your stay, a special rate will be available to you, provided there is availability
• In order to protect the Texas Lightning SC from "No Shows", all rooms must be guaranteed with a credit card
