TEXAS LIGHTNING PUMA CUP USA 2009

LOCATIONS:           Harold Patterson Sports Complex, Arlington, TX

(Teams playing first games of the tournament are responsible for putting up nets and last teams of the tournament responsible for taking down nets).

 

Valley Ridge Sports Complex, Cedar Hill, Texas

PARTICIPATION:  U-9 & U-11 through U-19 will play a 3 game minimum with bracket advancement to finals.

                                               

APPLICATION:      Must be made on-line at www.texaslightning.org  Any SPECIAL REQUESTS MUST BE INCLUDED ON APPLICATION. 

 

FEE:                           U-9 Boys & Girls Academy Teams  - $295.00

                                    U-11 through U-19 Boys & Girls Competitive Teams - $495.00

 

DEADLINE:             July 7, 2009 for application (as per application to host).

 

CHECK-IN:              Thursday, July 16th, LaQuinta Inn & Suites – 4001 Scot’s Legacy Dr. – Arlingon, 76015 (near the Parks Mall) From 6:00 to 8:00 PM     

                                    Please plan to check-in your team on Thursday unless you live outside the DFW Metroplex.  Limited check-in at fields.

Academy Teams will need NTX Tournament Roster

U-11 – U-19 Copy of Official State Roster, Notarized Medical Releases and Traveling Papers, if applicable, due at registration.

U-11 – U-19 US Club Teams, Copy of Roster

 

                                    Team Rosters –

U-9  -no guest players -  Format – 11  v 11

U-11 through U-15 – 18 players, up to 5 guest players

U-16 through U-19 – 22 players, up to 5 guest players

 

NOTIFICATION:    Accepted Teams and Schedules will be posted on the web site: www.texaslightning.org as soon as possible after the deadline.  There will be no refunds for teams that withdraw after the schedule is posted.  Teams not accepted will receive a full refund. 

 

IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO PARTICIPATE AFTER YOU HAVE MADE AN APPLICATION, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR IMMEDIATELY! 

 

FAILURE TO REMIT THE ENTRY FEE DOES NOT SERVE AS NOTIFICATION THAT A TEAM WILL NOT BE PARTICIPATING; YOU MUST CONTACT THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR, BEFORE SCHEDULES ARE POSTED, SHOULD YOU DECIDE NOT TO PARTICIPATE!

 

REFEREE:               When available, all games will use a 3 man referee system with all referees being USSF certified.
