Academy Objectives

Emphasis on encouragement and the development of individual player technique and tactical awareness as well as team tactics. Through application of our teaching techniques, young players will learn to perform well under pressure and learn to make good decisions in game conditions.

Mission Statement

The Texas Lightning Soccer Academy is the complete soccer education provider offering youth in our community a wide range of innovative programs that meet the interests and playing abilities of all players, teams, and coaches. As the premier provider of soccer training in our community, we will deliver multiple soccer programs that are age and ability appropriate and established on the principles of safety, learning and enjoyment.

Interested players U7 through U10 should contact either Vic Brown or the coach specific to their age group.

Training will be held at:

Webb Community Park March 1st – Beginning of October
Harold Patterson Multi-purpose fields A&B- North Beginning of October – Mid December
Harold Patterson Multi-purpose fields A&B- North Mid January – End of February

ACADEMY PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Academy practices will be held at the Texas Lightning Practice Facility at Webb Community Park

Cost - $5.00 per session for non-Texas Lightning Academy players.
Coaches - Texas Lightning Soccer Academy also provides individual team and group training. For more information,
